Many famous people have shown that their talent goes beyond the stage or screen. Some people have found interior design to be a genuine form of creative expression. It’s not just a well-funded hobby, but a passion with visible results: furniture signed by stars, magazine covers, and collaborations with international brands. These five names have found in design a way to diversify their public careers:
1. Lenny Kravitz Design
Lenny Kravitz founded Kravitz Design in 2003, based in Paris, and since then has signed projects for hotels, residences and brands such as CB2, Sony Pictures and Leica, among many others. His style blends the eclectic with the sophisticated: dark woods, aged metals, ethnic accents, and a clear influence from the world of entertainment.

Although her name is linked to ethical fashion, Stella McCartney has also brought her sustainable philosophy to interior design and lifestyle. Their vision is clear: vegan materials, responsible processes, clean lines, and understated elegance. This has been demonstrated through collaborations such as the reinterpretation of B&B Italia’s iconic Le Bambole sofa, upholstered with biodegradable fabrics and nature-inspired prints; or with the interior design of its boutiques in London, Paris, and New York, developed with Universal Design Studio. She has also created lifestyle pieces – blankets, tableware, decorative objects – together with The Macallan.
