Feria Hábitat 2025: The Long-Distance Race of Design

Valencia Habitat Fair has been running for 59 editions, reinventing itself each year and adapting to the current times in interior design. From Connections by Finsa, we propose these four highlights:

TempoCraft : new crafting space

In 2025, a new meeting point for premium craftsmanship will be born, aspiring to become a European benchmark on par with Collect (London), Révélations (Paris) or the Homo Faber exhibition (Venice): TempoCraft.

Designed for the influencer channel -contract, boutique retail, premium interior design-, concept store buyers, hotel interior designers and product designers, it will showcase the works of more than thirty creators from all over Spain, who champion materials such as ceramics, glass, natural fibres, textiles, stone, wood or new solutions.

It will also host the DIN (National Interior Design) awards ceremony, presented by the Council of Official Colleges of Interior Designers of Spain.

Contract 360 by Maderalia: the entire habitat in 30 proposals

Another new feature is Contract 360 by Maderalia, an exclusive environment with around thirty showcases where you can find comprehensive offers for contract: cladding, fittings, flooring, bathroom and wellness, home automation and accessories. We also highlight that in this same area, you can see an example of conscious materiality.

Barracas: the Hotel Habitat proposal

An interior designer of the calibre of Tomás Alía -Gold Medal for Fine Arts in 2022- invites us to a sustainable hotel designed following the Valencian architectural tradition. Barracas consists of eight suites designed by famous figures such as Pepe Cosín. They are inspired by this type of vernacular construction from the area, built with local materials, passive solutions, and popular knowledge.

The Hotel Hábitat will feature a central lobby, crowned by a tent of local products, a lobby bar, a rest area, and an auditorium where hospitality conferences will be held.

Nude: The Long-Distance Race of Emerging Design

That design is a long-distance race is something that this year’s Nude space will demonstrate: young designers will show their approaches in an area designed as an athletics track under the idea of estudi{H}ac. “A grand circuit of ideas, shapes, and materials, where young talent is set in motion through a moving metaphor”, explains José Manuel Ferrero, the firm’s designer.

Habitat Fair expanded with influencers

For the second consecutive year, the Habitat Fair will feature a parallel program featuring some of the most influential interior design artists on the Spanish scene. Professionals will share trend analysis, interviews, and original content on their own profiles. A true example of how to extend a physical experience to a digital one, for visitors and those unable to attend the event.
