Forty-one exhibitions, seven installations, 219 activities, and more than 600 design professionals. These figures add up to make the fifth edition of Madrid Design Festival 22. Despite being a relatively new event, it has become a unifier for the whole design movement, including gastronomy, art, and interior design, in addition to making it easily accessible to all in different locations dotted around the city.

FIAT LUX.3 Arquitecturas de luz (‘Light Architecture’) is an installation at Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa, where the lighting is just another building element inside a neutral space. Who said that it is only physical elements make up a room?

MadridDesignPRO: three days with the world’s best experts
MadridDesignPRO will take place from February 17 to February 19 at Madrid Design Festival. It involves day-long programs with design experts and will take place at the Instituto Libre de Enseñanza. They will discuss the role of design as a driver of socio-economic change and will award prizes to up-and-coming creators.
